I bought this recently and found it very easy to install and use The Cateye does what it is meant to do and I would recommend it as good value for money. This does mean it may run out of power one day mid ride, but the batteries that need charging aren't that good for long term use (especially if not used daily) as I've discovered many times and they don't last as long. Useful that this is powered by a small battery instead of needing to be charged up. I knew I wasn't fast but it's still interesting (c 10mph it turns out) and good to get an idea of speed on hills too and/or how well you're controlling the speed. I have been cycling as transport (instead of sport/exercise) so was just curious to see how far I was traveling and what sort of speed. The new larger screen is even easier to read and set up is made simple with pre-programmed tire sizes. The timing and average speed is interesting to check at the end.
